From July 12 to August 30, the Pianissimo festival, a series of summer concerts of piano music, will be held for the first time in Moscow at the GES-2 House of Culture. The main idea of the festival is to introduce listeners to the young generation of musicians in new spaces for academic music. Leading young performers from Russia and abroad will perform on the stage of the House of Culture. The program will open with a recital by Vladislav Khandogiy, a finalist of the Van Cliburn Competition, the most important pianist competition in the world. He will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Schumann, Alexander Scriabin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Sergei Prokofiev. Konstantin Khachikyan and Ilya Papoyan and Italian pianist Lorenzo Bagnati will also perform at the festival.
