On August 13 and 14, Brateevsky Cascade Park will host the 7th Rostec International Fireworks Festival. This year, it will be devoted to folk art and the intangible cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia.

Eight pyrotechnic teams from Latin America, Europe, and Asia will delight the audience and fight for the title of the best. The teams will create pyrotechnical compositions to music related to Russian culture, demonstrate the national characteristics of their countries, and present their calling cards — fireworks with a national flavor. The program should also be in line with the festival’s theme.

Participants in the competition program will demonstrate the latest developments in pyrotechnic technology and firework art. The shows will be broadcast on projection screens set in the water area of the Moskva River.

The daytime and evening entertainment programs of the festival will offer sports and creative activities, and the festival area will be equipped with themed spaces, exhibitions, and cultural areas. Workshops will offer everyone the opportunity to learn about the traditions and cultural heritage of the regions of Russia, and the food court will offer typical snacks and dishes from its national cuisine. The evening program will open with concerts by Russian musicians. On August 13, the band Gradusy will perform, and the headliner on day two will be Basta.
