New Year’s concerts have become a tradition for the performance groups of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, in particular for the actors of the Youth Program and the Children’s Chorus, who give annual performances for children and adults on the Historical Stage of the Theatre. This year, they will impress audiences with a new program at the Zaryadye Concert Hall.
The Novaya Rossiya State Symphony Orchestra will present a New Year’s program that both adults and children will enjoy: they will hear music from The Nutcracker, Cinderella, The Town Musicians of Bremen, The Hussar Ballad, The Children of Captain Grant, an overture by Strauss, a waltz by Lehar, and other works. The presentation will be conducted by Igor Razumovsky.
