New Tretyakov Gallery presents a retrospective event in honor of the 125th birth anniversary of Ivan Alexeyevish Kudryashov, Malevich's student, follower of the suprematism art movement, and major representative of the cosmism philosophy in art. This is the first and most exhaustive exploration of Kudryashov's body of work, shedding light on all-new aspects of Russian avant-garde art.
The exhibition consists of several sections, which include the artist's paintings, graphics, and set designs, as well as archival materials. One of the key elements is a three-dimensional replica of Kudryashov's suprematism-style murals at the Orenburg city theater.
