Riverboats rarely travel far from the city center, but it is worth it, because there are many other interesting places to see. Moscow expert Maria Kalish will guide us along a rarely visited section of the Moskva River Canal — from the Karamyshevskaya Embankment to Moscow-City. She will talk about the bridges there. Some of them are almost 100 years old, and others were the first of their kind in the USSR. We will find out what the village of Fili is famous for, what the three main river ports in Moscow were, how Solzhenitsyn is associated with the Presnya-Tovarnaya station of the Moscow district railway, and why the Moscow-City business center was needed.
