Tourist Information Centers (TIC) are an important part of the city’s ecosystem. A TIC provides visitors to the capital with guidance (in Russian and other languages), information about places of interest, cultural sites, and current events in the city, and the locations of desired destinations and directions to them. It also provides tourists with the opportunity to independently learn information about the city via an interactive application using touch panels, as well as obtain maps and other printed media materials. The employees of Tourist Information Centers are experienced tour guides who can also assist in the preparation of unique routes around Moscow.
There are six Tourist Information Centers in Moscow: the Flagship Tourist Information Center in Zaryadye Park, the Discover Moscow Center in Terminal 1 of Domodedovo Airport, the Discover Moscow Center on the first floor of Terminal A of Vnukovo Airport, and the Tourist Information Centers at the Belorussky Railway Station, in the building of the North River Terminal, and at Sheremetyevo Airport.
