The Department of Transport of Moscow and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts have presented an educational project dedicated to the recently concluded Brother Ivan. Mikhail and Ivan Morozov’s Art Collections exhibition. It includes maps of Morozov’s places in Moscow and themed Troika travel cards.
Information posters which introduce the Moscow places associated with the Morozov family of collectors have been installed in metro stations and at ground transport stops. According to the museum’s media office, this is a tribute to the Morozov brothers, who gathered an immense collection of works of fine art by Russian and European artists.
In addition to the posters, themed Troika travel cards with images of masterpieces from the Morozov’s collections have been produced. They feature Peaches and Pears by Paul Cézanne, The Sea at Antheor by Louis Valtat, Around My House by Henri-Edmond Cross, Red Vineyard at Arles Montmajour by Vincent van Gogh, and Portrait of the Actress Jeanne Samary by Pierre Auguste Renoir. These cards can be purchased at Moscow Metro souvenir stores and at information desks in the Moscow Metro.
