Out-of-Town Routes for Winter Vacation from Russpass

These are walks around Kolomna and other sites near Moscow


The digital tourist service Russpass presented four unique travel routes for the upcoming New Year vacations perfect for self-guided tours of the Moscow region’s tourist attractions. These country walks are suitable for large groups and families with children.

The route “Miracle Moscow Region” is a universal tourist guide to Kolomna known for preserving the history of local handcrafts. Travelers can visit the Museum of Kolomna Gramophones, the Fragrant Joys Museum and Manufactory, the Marshmallow Historical Museum, visit the Museum of the 20th and 21st Century Art and see the Kolomna Kremlin complex.

Another route is called “Dmitrov antiquity: a trip to the Moscow region”, and it is mostly dedicated to the Dmitrov Kremlin. To learn about Russian Switzerland, the history of estates and famous Russian writers you can take a walk named “At the call of the bell: a journey to Zvenigorod”. And picturesque lakes, an 18th century palace and real architectural pearls of Moscow region became the main characters of the walk along the route “Chapters of History: Journey to Solnechnogorsk”.

A total of 10 tourist routes are available to Russpass users in the Moscow region. Travelers will find walk options in Serpukhov, Podolsk, Krasnogorsk, and other cities.
