Five artificial snow trails have opened in four parks of the capital. Now, skiing is possible in Sokolniki Park, Mitino Landscape Park, Severnoye Tushino Park, and Olympic Village Park. Their total length is 7.3 km.

The skiing trails are covered with hard-packed snow from snow cannons. If the snow cover is insufficient, special snow-making machines will be launched.
