This two-tier bar and restaurant in Bolshaya Pirogovskaya doubles as an exhibition space. The name choice is deliberate: the building housing the bar used to be a light bulb factory.
The interior design is dominated by a 30-meter counter and an almost 10-meter-tall rack showcasing all kinds of different drinks. The bar offers more than 70 types of whiskey, about 10 types of tequila, and over 20 types of gin and rum. The bar menu focuses on strong alcohol, designer cocktails, and cocktail classics. The food on the menu was inspired by popular European dishes, with the chef's original twist. There is a special dinner menu.
The original brickwork has been painstakingly preserved and then augmented with modern art: paintings, sculptures, photographs, and video installations. The second floor is often used for temporary exhibitions and performances.
Parties, concerts by popular artists, dinners with wine, and workshops are also a frequent occurrence.
