Restaurateur Alexey Olkhovoy created a refuge from the city bustle: an actual greenhouse restaurant in the very heart of Moscow, with panoramic windows and two terraces. Inside, you will find countless live plants of all shapes and sizes, including majestic palms that nearly touch the ceiling, making you think that you are in a café somewhere on Bali.
The menu is short enough to fit on a single page, mostly focused on starters like avocado and tomato flatbread, beef tartare with truffle oil, toasted Camembert with cranberry jam, and more. Hot dishes include steaks, grilled seafood, and pasta with forest mushrooms. The wine menu offers about 20 options, more than half of which can be served by the glass.
The summer terrace in Blanc's courtyard is adorned with garlands and flowers. Sometimes the premises are used for evening film screenings. Over the weekends, the restaurant hosts DJ shows and an occasional vintage market.
