Maestrello serves authentic Roman pizza. Its owners, Julia Maestrello, Fabio Bressan, and chef Matteo Castagna, are Italians that settled in Russia. Their pride and joy is an elongated, rectangular sourdough pizza made from a mixture of soy, rice, and wheat flour. In all, there are more than 20 different pizzas to choose from. Several kinds of salads, soups, and desserts are also an option. The bar menu has a selection of beers and ciders.
So far, the Maestrello chain has two pizzerias in Moscow: one at the intersection of Pokrovka and Chistoprudny Boulevard, and another in Danilovsky Market. Both restaurants are spacious and full of light, with warm shades and yellows dominating the interior design. Maestrello allows its guests to order pizzas to go, for snacking in the street.
