The acclaimed Coffeemania has been an iconic Moscow chain since 2001. The prices are a bit higher than in other coffee shops, but that is quite justified: they not only brew great coffee, but also serve restaurant quality dishes.
The chain markets itself as a trendsetter in the development of coffee culture in Russia: it was Coffeemania that popularized raf coffee, for example. They offer several types of filter coffee, classic beverages like cappuccino and flat white, and creative dessert drinks like the latte with halva or turmeric or the orange raff. All coffee beverages can be prepared with vegetarian milk. They also offer lemonades, smoothies, fresh juices, and a variety of teas, including herbal, fruit, and berry teas.
The food menu offers more than fifteen appetizers and salads (it is worth trying the burrata, tartare, or Swedish toast with salmon) and almost thirty hot dishes of meat, poultry, fish, pasta, and risotto. And of course, a variety of desserts that also look very impressive and photogenic: the Onyx (white chocolate mousse with marbled glaze) really does resemble a gem, and the strawberry He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not looks like a flower with velvet petals.
The coffee shops can be found in the GUM, three Moscow airports (Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo), many business and shopping centers, and food malls.
