Tilda Food & Bar is a very small restaurant, with a capacity of just 45 people. You will find it in a semi-basement not far from Tverskaya Street. The interior design is truly Scandinavian in its minimalism, notable for a soothing dark palette, austere-looking wooden furniture, a concrete bar counter, and gilded cabinets and shelves. The pinpoints of warm light accentuate the visitor's immediate surroundings rather than the interior overall. Despite its small size, the space remains cozy at any time of day: nothing will distract you from your meal and the person you are sharing it with.
Several items on the menu reference Scandinavian culture: smoked yogurt, baked root vegetables, and traditional rye bread. Tilda will also offer you dishes that use Japanese cooking techniques. The bar menu has an amazingly diverse collection of wines, as well as classical and designer cocktails. The hosts are delighted when people come here with four-legged friends.
