This small restaurant for only ten guests is hiding in a courtyard on Chistoprudny Boulevard. The name "Flør" alludes to two terms — it sounds like the Norwegian for "flirt" and the French for "flower." The restaurant draws inspiration from these two countries: the interiors are designed in Scandinavian style with minimalist white walls and pastel-colored furniture, while the focus on rare wines represents the love for French culture. The creators of Flør also wanted to bring the restaurant closer to its guests, which is why there are no waiters here: visitors get to communicate with chefs, bartenders, and administrators directly.
The menu is also minimalist: starters and main courses all fit on one page. To complement the wine, you can choose roast beef served on a large, hot stone with onion sauce, a hummus set, or tender salmon rillettes. Delicious main courses include Calamarata, mushroom risotto, and halibut steak. The wine menu features around 50 varieties such as French red wines, Mediterranean white and sparkling wines, as well as champagne and biodynamic wines.
