Seafood and wine restaurant inspired by French culture

gallery.2.jpg

Just a few steps from Smolenskaya subway station is a restaurant of La Marée chain known for the highest quality seafood dishes, and listed in the MICHELIN Guide. This is the largest restaurants of the chain – it occupies three floors of a building with a black brick facade and terrace on the roof.

The food follows the usual La Marée style: more than 25 types of appetizers, superb salads (the MICHELIN Guide advises trying the salad with Kamchatka crab and avocado), tartares and carpaccio, soups, pastas, risotto, desserts. But the centerpiece here, of course, is fish and seafood – they are delivered as fresh as possible from virtually all over the world. Crab fillet is served in a cream sauce with truffle or black caviar, Chilean sea bass is baked in parchment, there is even a Pozharsky fish cutlet.

As for drinks, there is a good selection of French wines and Champagne. If you want a dessert, have a delicate classic cheesecake, a Philly cheese fondant with hot berry sauce, or a violet dessert.

Ask the concierge for a reservation If you are staying at the hotel.
