This well-known network of double-decker red buses operates in many European capitals, including Moscow. The idea is simple: the sightseeing bus runs along a circular route, so you can get on and off at any stop (the Hop On Hop Off principle). You can buy a ticket valid for 48, or 72 hours. The buses run daily from 10 a.m., and the last bus leaves at 6:30 p.m. The intervals between trips are usually no more than half an hour.
The buses run on two urban routes, "The Heart of Moscow" and "The Soul of Moscow", each marked with a different color. The red one, "Heart of Moscow", travels through the city center: the bus passes by Red Square, Christ the Savior Cathedral, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Arbat Street, Cthe entral Children's Store, and St. Basil's Church. The green one, "The Soul of Moscow", leaves the city center and heads toward Khamovniki and Yakimanka Districts. This itinerary includes Gorky Park, Vorobyovy Gory, Zaryadye Park, and the Hotel Ukraina.
