Technopolis

An innovation cluster with high-tech companies

Технополис.jpeg

Technopolis is a large industrial cluster in southwest Moscow, established in the mid-2000s on the site of a former automobile plant. Today, the complex is occupied by dozens of high-tech businesses, including electronic companies, telecommunication plants, and biological laboratories. The cluster regularly hosts major scientific conferences and tech forums, and the industrial buildings are surrounded by all the necessary infrastructure such as hotels, parks, and recreation areas.

Although the entire territory of the cluster is occupied by active businesses, you can still get a tour of Technopolis. Visitors get to see several enterprises, from the production of nanocarbon materials to a microelectronics laboratory. You will learn about the companies' production technologies, the development of innovations, and other interesting facts, for instance, what makes up a microchip. Tours are especially popular among schoolchildren, but there are also special programs for students of technical universities.

Technopolis offers tours for groups of 10+ people upon prior registration on the official website. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by parents.
